Beginning to carve masks for my family’s traditional dances was a start to my artistic journey. Now I have developed my career to deeply explore Alaska Native narratives and concepts. My goal is to attain understanding and inspiration to best understand and express Alaska Native culture as well as my own individual identity. By doing so, I hope to inspire future Indigenous generations to ascertain their own unique individual identities and spirituality.
